Recently, OKX has received feedbacks about accounts takeover or scammed, including wallet hacked, account hacked, and reports of fraud. Please stay vigilant: do not transfer funds to strangers, do not click on suspicious links, do not authorize your wallet carelessly, and never share your seed phrase/private key with strangers. Be cautious to avoid hacked and scams.

If your account or wallet has been stolen or you've fallen victim to a scam, please follow the steps below to file a report.

  • Open the OKX App > Select the Menu > Account settings > Security > Report fraud or suspicious activity > Write a Report, and we'll verify the details and address the issue for you.

Important notes:

1. If you discover that your wallet has been hacked, it is recommended that you transfer the remaining assets to another secure address as soon as possible and please report through the above steps immediately. Learn more here: How do I transfer crypto from OKX wallet to a third-party platform?

2. When reporting account takeover or fraud, be sure to provide a detailed description of the time the incident occurred, the amount involved, suspicious transactions, and other key information. If you have relevant screenshots, please provide them promptly so that Customer Support can fully understand the situation and take targeted actions.

3. The platform will take confidentiality measures for the information you provide, so please feel free to report if you encounter account takeover, fraud, or suspicious transactions.

How can I view my private key?

On the Web3 wallet homepage, select the Menu > Backups > Wallet > Seed phrase to view your seed phrase.

Note: please make sure to properly and securely back up your wallet's seed phrase and address private key. Do not store them in a network environment. It is recommended that you write down the seed phrase and keep it in a safe place. Never disclose your seed phrase or private key to others. Do not click on unfamiliar links, scan unknown QR codes, authorize unknown third-party projects, or swap unfamiliar coins, to prevent loss of your assets.
